Reinvigorating a culture between the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts by refurnishing the common area with more inclusive, conversation-initiating furniture. Worked with a budget, proposing to the dean of the school and worked in conjunction with the Graduate Architecture Council, Art Council and Sam Fox Student Council.

Before: High top tables with orange chairs that caused students to stand, inhale their lunch and move along.

After: A divided, reorganized space that fosters conversation and gives students, faculty and staff a variety of seating and privacy options.
